But the 'first sin' is an interesting phrase. We know that the lost Sinner was considered a sinner for trying to create a new First Flame. Or she's a sinner because of other reasons.[spoiler]I think she was originally Egil, and was linked to the Old Iron King's death, and wears the penal gear to punish herself for what she did[/spoiler]
So perhaps the first sin is Gwyn's sacrifice to kindle the flame.
As 'students' of the first sin, they learned from Gwyn, and each tried to get around the curse, and failed in the end.
But all of the kings seem to be connected in a way.

Interesting!! I may have to do another play though of DS2 because something's I don't remember and hopefully will shed light onto what it may be talking about or hinting towards. The possibilities! Though I am going through a DS 1 run right now so maybe I'll find something about it while playing through it.

I think that all the information we're missing in Dark Souls 2 can be found in Dark Souls 2. I think we have Dark Souls pretty figured out at this point.

Hmm true. I'm already half way through DS1 so I'll probably finish it still but maybe I'll put off DS2 until this comes out.

That would be good. Maybe they'll fix a few things, like torches actually working the way they were supposed to, and maybe they added a couple things, like a dragon landing at the Dragon Shrine (which doesn't happen in the PS3 version).

Just read it... Free update to PS3 to add characters and stuff!! :D New items, new lore... I'm so excited!

It should be awesome! Plus there are new enemies so that will also add lore because most enemies have lore behind them as well!

True was just speculation on my end. We will just have to wait until the Playstation Experience if they announce something if not we wait til the game comes out.

Yup! I've also heard they will consider redoing Demon souls if bloodborne sells good but you didn't hear that from me :)

Yes! That would be a cool one to have remastered but I've heard it a bit harder than the Soul series.

It is indeed harder, but it isn't as challenging as Dark Souls. Demon's Souls is simply unforgiving.
