I saw a topic asking for help in PvP, I made a response and thought to create a topic here. Here what I posted on the forums. "Learning maps is massively important. Knowing common routes, choke points, sniping alleys can save you life or end another's. practice, every weapon type has a different play style, what do you use in PvE? Find one that works in crucible. High stability, range, and impact, are all important for almost everything. Knowing what all the subclasses are capable of and reading what they are doing is a key thing, what grenade just got tossed, what weapon they're using, is it exotic or named? Information accounts for more than you might think. Finally the flow of the game, it ties in with knowing the maps, but reading how a team is playing can help. Do they stuck together? Are they all sniping, shotgunning etc. Adjust your play to account for these things, snipers? Flank and get in close. Fusion rifles? Slide shotgun or engage from range. I hope this helps.
