Caterpillar Disconnet
Since the recent update I have been receiving caterpillar codes at random. In the middle of a strike, mission, or crucible match I will get disconnected to the start screen and signed out of xbox live. It will also happen in between loading screens or when I am roaming the tower.
I have enabled my upnp (it was always enabled), tried port forwarding in tandem with static IP's and also tried the DMZ method, all of which have failed. The closest solution I was able to come up with was forwarding my ports, however once I did that my nat type switched to strict which creates other issues. There are multiple gaming devices in my home as well as mobile devices and computers. There are no other connectivity issues in my home besides this one with Destiny.
This is a psa for bungie as well as a search for anyone else who is having these issues, as the game is quite unplayable with these connectivity problems.

Ditto, I'm having the same exact issues. I get caterpillar sometimes, most of the time I just get disconnected from Xbox Live and kicked back to start screen. I have been just lucky enough to remain connected enough times to get from IB rank 3 to 5, just barely got it done today. Ghelons Demise with explosive rounds and precision kills cause targets to explode... Can't wait to unlock those perks. I would just like a reason as to why trying to stay connected is like pulling teeth. One would assume you would stress test the patch on the servers, but guess not. I've been complaining about this since they added the new patch. I also had this issue when they patched Atheon, I fixed it that time by resetting Xbox networking settings to factory defaults. This time I have not gotten so lucky with that method. Everyone who's having these issues, what kind of copy of Destiny do you have? The only people on my friend's list having these issues play on a digital copy.. thoughts?
