You don't seem to understand that inflation =/= gas prices. Realistically, inflation compiles around 3% a year, meaning an increase of 24%, or a net price of $37.47. Also, none of this changes the fact that Destiny is a shitty, broken game, or that WoW can only be played out of your mother's basement.
