Raid is Broken - FIX YOUR GAME! (Flawless Raider Attempt - Video)
Our team going for VoG Flawless Raider Achievement and we make it all the way to the end.... only to have Atheon teleport NO ONE for 2 times in a row.
We were prepared for the bug where Atheon only teleports 1 person, we weren't prepared for NONE. We thought 1 person got teleported to left side so 2 players ran in to help. Turns out no one was in there, the players both got marked and if you listen at the end you can here one of the players clearly say there was NO RELIC in there... so there was nothing they could do.
No problem, we figured we could still pull it together when he did the next teleport cycle.... but nope, he didn't teleport anyone at the 2nd cycle either, meaning we couldn't get a relic to cleanse our 2 marked players and they died.
Seriously Bungie, get your act together and fix your game!

It took us quite a few attempts, but we finally got it. One thing I didn't know until a random told me that is VERY helpful is: If there is nobody in the portals, the oracles won't kill you. This is the most helpful advice ever. So in these scenarios, here is what we did: 1.) 0 people got teleported - Do nothing. Everybody just sit and wait until the next teleport wave (Or just shoot Atheon for free dmg) 2.) 1 person got teleported - Call out or discover the location QUICKLY. Open the portal but DON'T send anybody in. The person inside grabs the relic and runs out of the portal as soon as it's opened. Wait for next teleport wave. 3.) 2 people get teleported - Open the portal and have one more jump in to help, run normally otherwise. 4.) 3 people get teleported - Run as normal 5.) 4 people get teleported - Run as normal, but outside needs to call out if they didn't get all of the supplicants as the portal players will need to jump upon exiting the portals so they don't blow up. 6.) 5 people get teleported - Same as 5, but tougher for the one guy left outside. We finally got the cheevo using these methods. I hope they help you too.

It's nothing that good prep and knowledge can't fix. Just keep going for it and always try to use the same team. Use all level 29 or 30, and everyone have maxed weapons. It will pay off in the end. Or just wait until they raise the level cap, then this will just be a cake walk.

Same shit here caught a gorging gaze halfway down to the maze and I was in the back so Noone got left behind. Raids shit don't know how they -blam!-ed it up so much I guess the same way they accidentally nerfed thorn.

I was in a flawless attempt group where only 1 person was teleported 3 times in a row, then out of the blue a party member on the outside(home team) died. The game said he had "succumbed to the oracles"... so broken, so disappointing.

Bungie get your shit together! this is the 4th time (2de in a row) me and my team get to atheon flawless and it is the 4th time atheon -blam!-s us up with a random bug. This is really starting to get on my nerves It is alway's something with the atheon fight Get to fixing it ASAP!!! 2 RepliesI have to agree with you, i recently succeeded on this flawless raider. also on the 360, and it was a pain. it only teleported 1 person twice in a row. we managed, then it got its act together, first run with all randoms worked. but it was hella stressful. and having done the raid as many times as i have i know that there is at least 10 different outcomes of a teleportation that can mess you up.

So sick n tired of the pandering to pvp players , why are bungie wasting time nerfing/buffing weapons, creating special armor so they can hit lvl 30 using iron banner rank & glimmer. Meanwhile, everyone with vanguard or house rep is stuck with crap gear. Stop pissing about and fix the m-f-ing raids already !! This garbage of being teleported with restraining fields, 7 oracles spawning all at once, no relics spawning, or players unable to pick up the frikkin relic at all, along with all the other glitches is excrutiatingly frustrating. 2 characters stuck at 29 3/4 for weeks now thanks to these game breaking glitches despite running 6 raids a week, am i supposed to be encouraged by this? Oh and your zoo full of error code creatures ? Get disconnected, rejoin dead, lose your heavy ammo, rinse, repeat. Team runs into a portal glitch, die, lose heavy ammo, rinse repeat Talk about a piss take.. Anyone know a laywer willing to take on a class action lawsuit against the gaming industry publishers for defrauding us, the paying public?

1 ReplyIts like when you try a flawless run, the glitches are amplified. My clan got up to Atheon and he teleports 1 person. Idk why I didn't expect. Now we keep 3 ppl on each plate to be ready for any glitches. [b]But yea, this shit needs to be fixed fast![/b]

2 RepliesI know its been mentioned (slightly) in some of the replies but if its as common as people are claiming to be - particularly when reaching Atheon with no deaths - maybe the whole not teleporting thing is supposed to happen? I mean, a game that detects how you're doing and produces variating circumstances to throw you and make it more difficult for you to finish your task doesn't sound bad at all. It actually sounds quite good. However, seeing as it happens here and nowhere else in the raid does point to something a little more glitchy.

My friend who was raiding with me thought that the game recognizes that you are attempting to not die. So it -blam!-s with you! I know right? Pretty -blam!-ed up! But its the ultimate test for something so rewarding. So dont say its broken, overcome the obstacle and defeat what you set to do. Good Luck. The game is just a pain in the ass. You will understand later.

I believe you just found the 7th chest you hero :) my team did the exact same thing and same thing happened 2 us only thing is we cud of killed him without times vengence but he got enraged and we all ended up dying but im not saying its a 7th chest just recken it is im not sure tbh

Had similar things happen to my group this week as well. We have decided not to attempt flawless raider until they patch the glitches... and then patch the patch, fixing the glitches that the first patch will inevitably cause....
