Young Ahamkara's Spine worth it? get now or save for next week
Im a lvl 26 hunter and i have 16 strange coins which i am saving to hopefully buy an exotic auto rifle from xur such as the suros regime. i know i probably need 23 strange coins to even buy a weapon but thats not the problem. my question is should i buy the Young Ahamkara's Spine gauntlets that he is selling today for 13 and get the strange coins again for next week or should i just save my strange coins for next week and hope he sells an exotic auto rifle. right now my gauntlets are only rare because i didn't have enough crucible marks to buy gauntlets and a gun so i could definitely use them im just wondering if their worth buying and going to do the weekly over and over till i collect all the strange coins and playing crucible for hours on end hoping to get rewarded one. or the nightfall any help would be great.

imo u should save your coins since you only have 16. I had 73 before I bought stuff this am and haven't even done the weeklies on two of my characters since I have been spending most of my time on iron banner. I did buy it but that's because I have so many coins and not much else left to get. Save your coins!! The reason I say that is because if you do not have Icebreaker and it pops up for sale next week and you can't buy it then you will regret it. Everyone I know who let it go by last time is kicking themselves. It is gamechanging for nightfall, weeklies, strikes of any kind, and even the raid. It is far more important than Suros Regime or Hardlight. I have two Regimes and I hardly use them because mostly I rock a legendary Hand Cannon with thirteen rounds and Icebreaker (which will even regenerate ammo for other special weapons like Patience and Time/Praedyth's Revenge or any of your fusion rifles). Suros is a great gun but get it later. It is dropping all over the place and will surely come back to Xur who has a limited inventory. As far as Hunter exotics YAS is not that great. Lucky Raspberry is better, Mask of 3rd Man is better, Knucklehead Radar is better. Just wait.
