I know you guys read a lot of these posts in the past, but I want to bring this up again. RNG in this game is frustrating. You would play the raid on hard for 4 weeks and only get one raid gear while a guy that play it once get 3 raid armor. Someone would get plan C which is a gun you wanted so bad, but that guy already has it and he dismantles it. Trading in Destiny will help a lot. My friend is missing boots and helmet from the raid and he has been doing all of them since VoG came out. I really want to give him my extra armors, but there is no trading.
If implemented right, trading will help Destiny a lot.
Edit: Trading is in almost all MMO's. People keep comparing Destiny to MMO's. So why not add trading?

Is the current inventory deep enough to support trading?
-
a player to vendor system yes a player to player system will only amplify the PVPers butthurt 100 fold by basically selling thru a 3rd party website all the best exotics & legendary's in the game

Edited by Saxifraga: 11/21/2014 11:35:02 PMGood idea! It's interesting to see the reaction of people, who praise the free market idiology in real life, don't want any trade in a game, because think they become famous through a VoG RNG drop. lol (I m able to detect these guys, because they use the terms 'handouts', 'cry baby' & 'earn it' very often.)

Gally for sale 500 usd. I'll spam you requests from the tower
-
No because people will buy their exotics

I used to be down for trading.. but I am against it now. I find it a thrill to actually play the game and get drops based on random generation. I like hearing reaction of that guy (or gal) that finally got that weapon they wanted.

I like the idea but with a trading system it would be much too easy to get all the best gear in a very short period of time. There just aren't enough top tier items to justify one yet. The keyword is "yet" maybe we won't see it in destiny one but when destiny 2 ( some believe it goes by the name comet) comes out and they create exotics with random variables like maybe a multi tool with firefly or some other random perk is its first and then expand the amount of different exotics, raids, and legendaries (new guns and armor) trading would be somewhat of a must have.

Edited by FASTLIFE: 11/22/2014 4:43:11 PMi got plan C its useless for me i dont use it them fusion bro i would trade it for a mote of light damn.

I think I'd be tempted to limit trading to between clan members.

Wish so , but they won't unfortunately . Sad , but it isn't coincidence or our imagination that we grind ALOT and hardly Ever get sh*t... Plus that other guy is right too , some people would hook up others . It's also the reason the for Levelling of the playing field , keeping us all within arms reach

I've always been an advocate of uninhibited trading in MMO type games. I'd love to be able to trade some strange coins for ascendant shards, or a lot of glimmer for a vanguard mark. Sure, it means some players may receive high level gear with a fraction of the work, but that can be resolved with some itemization fixes, and it opens up a lot of content for players that don't have time to grind for hours to reach a high enough level for raids

Destiny needs trade end of story
-
They won't because people have friends that will hook them up, while lone-wolves get left in the dark. I personally would love trading.
-
I would love trading, I don't even know how it's possible to have an rng loot system and not have trading
-
I have a bad juju as good or better than the suros regime(stats)and I would gladly trade it for a red death its my goal to get that gun...
-
I thought you were announcing you were trading IN Destiny lol
-
No trades... ever... don't ask again... stop
-
Yes I agree
