It's...AMAZING! Best story line I've seen in a looong time, and you seriously have no idea what's going to happen next in the enormous storyline. If you played 1 and 2 it'll be a lot more fun too seeing old references come back

Awesome game once you get past the first 5-10 hours. At first it seemed lacking but once you can lvl your characters a bit it gets a whole lot better. Its good to mix up the pace with a little bit of destiny here and there aswell

It looks quite good from the videos I've watched on You Tube but seems there's a fair few cut scenes. I watched about an hours worth of a 3 hr video and quite enjoyed it plus it helped there was no commentary on it

Worst $60 I've ever spent I traded it in and preordered the Witcher 3

I'm at 21 hours, and the plot twists are great...but yeah it picks up at around 18 I think

I love the game but I have some minor complaints that don't necessarily have an impact on how I feel about the games quality from an objective standpoint. 1.The Companions: Now I feel like Bioware dropped the ball on this one because of an effort to desexualize the women and pushing political agendas in favor of a liberal platform. Vivienne is a bald bitch that I flat out don't like because she's just a terrible character over all. Sera is supposed to be this fun elf that runs around having fun but her face makes it seem like she's constipated 24/7 and it just doesn't suit her character, even if she can be interesting at times. Dorian: Stop pushing your goddamn political agendas on me! He is a walking stereotype of a gay man and doesn't help the "gay" cause at all because he's over the top to the point where it feels forced. Solas: He's uninteresting. The rest are ok but there's only three that I really like is Iron Bull, Blackwall,and Varic 2. Leliana is underutilized. Seriously in Origins she was hands down my favorite companion and now she's an npc who always wears a hood. Where is the girl who kept a nug named Schmooples? 3.Hawk was extremely disappointing. There comes a part in the game where you know Hawk is gona appear and it even goes so far as to let you customize him to how he looked in DA2 but you only see him maybe 3-5 times. It would have been so cool to have Hawk become a companion and that was a real missed opportunity. 4. Lip synching looks off and arguably worse than mass effect 3. Now I know that I only went over the negative aspects because it's a shorter post than going over the great aspects that I really do love about this game so far.

Lovin it. Lots more to do and the multiplayer part feels alot like gauntlet in 3d :-)

I'm only 4 to 5 hours in but I like it. It gets out a lot of the shitty DA2 play and brings it back more to DAO. I'll also say there is a ton to explore. I'm still in the first area outside of Haven and I've got maybe half left to explore. I read a review the other day saying that the guy had put in 80 hours so far and I can easily see myself doing that. One thing I'm unsure of is just how difficult the game will be. I'm playing on normal difficulty with no friendly fire from the magic, but I haven't played much with my teams tactics yet. I also don't know how the AI difficulty will scale when the difficulty is changed. Basically I don't know if the AI will get smarter of if enemies will just hit harder and have more health. You definitely feel the EA influence with the war map and campsite checkpoints; it's very reminiscent of assassin's creed black flags (cool for me because I liked that part). The story/lore is still absolutely ridiculous in terms of the amount of it they have. If you were really into DAO (multiple play throughs and such) I'd definitely recommend it.

Oh also: definitely do the dragon's keep thing or whatever it's called. It let's you go back and make all the major choices from the previous games/expansions. So if you're big into the lore of the world you'll love it

I'm about 7 hours in and have literally just been spending all my time exploring and doing side quests. I don't think I've even touched the major quest yet. I'm enjoying it so far. It's definitely took my attention away from all the other games I was playing (destiny, Diablo 3 ROS). If you enjoyed the first game you'll enjoy this one.

Yea i love it, all the basic Dragon Age stuff is there, party co-ordination, skill trees etc. Etc. The intro is realy cool with lots of those awsome cutscenes and speeches which is why i LOVE these kindof games. Oh and loots a plenty! Ooo and theres no level cap now so choose your skills as you will <- this bit i love Only negatives i see is what they said they were trying to do, which is "alot of gamers would have Skyrim as there first rpg" so basicaly ripping that off. I like my RPGs linear, i like doing mission after mission with lots of story, sortof like how GTA just lets you do mission after mission with all the cutscenes. DAI just give you the boot into its open world areas with tons of sidequests, and its got this Assasins Creed element aswell (the war table) where you can get npcs to do missions for u, and unlock "camps" like ACs eagles nests. Its ok.. but you cant just go do the story, you haveto level up doing this stuff and it adds to what happens in the story. Basicaly if you want an old school rpg, straight and narrow but VERY fun its in there for you, but you'll be expected to do all the stuff BS new school rpgs want you to do like run for a billion miles up some hill to fight a giant in some dingy shallow cave for some random farmer because it "helps" the inquisition.
