Crucible Quartermaster Weapon Suggestions
Hey guys and gals, I'm looking to buy a primary/special weapon (excluding fusion and handcannons) from the crucible quartermaster soon... Just looking for some feedback on which weapons you like (and maybe recommend alternatives from vanguard instead). In particular I'm considering the scout and auto rifles, any advice would be appreciated, cheers.
Ps- Feel free to recommend any "good buys" from factions or crucible and vanguard quartermasters so that others can look for advice here also.

Edit 2: So Xur has mida this weekend, can anyone tell me what that's like for PVP (upgraded and un-upgraded)... Thanks for all the advice so far btw, seems cryptic dragon is getting good reviews along with the autos being reliable too

1 ReplyScout Rifle: Aries Nemesis X4. IMO its the only lengedary scout rifle that can compare to the raid scout rifle, Vision of Confluence. Auto Rifles: Either Grim Citizen from the Crucible QM or Shadow Price from the Vanguard QM. Hard to go wrong with either. Shotguns: The Commedian. Judgment VI from (IIRC) New Monarchy. Sniper Rifles: I wouldn't waste time with these unless you have an exotic primary or Heavy weapon you just can't part with. The legendary Sniper rifles are good...but the raid sniper (Praedyth's Revenge) and the exotic sniper rifles (Ice Breaker and Patience and Time) are some of the best weapons in the game. Since you're going for a legendary primary right now, I'd save that slot for an exotic if you want a Sniper rifle. P&T if you mainly play PvP. Ice Breaker if you mainly play PvE or a combination of both (and can only pick one). If you're PVP and decide to eventually go with an exotic primar (cough, Suros), then good sniper rifles are: The Final Boss, Epitaph 2261...and ANY of the Queens Wrath snipers. Either the legendary (The Supremacy) or the 267 attack rare. Both are very stable, very accurate, and hit HARD.

2 RepliesCryptic Dragon is a great scout rifle. Highly recommend it over any of the other legendary scout rifles you can buy in the tower. Aim for the head and you'll be mowing down enemies. Also great for PvE, my go to weapon whenever I play PvE.

3 RepliesI'd suggest the cryptic dragon scout over the aries nemesis. The explosive rounds go a long way in extra damage. If you're clever enough and you need to chase an enemy under cover with just a sliver of life left, you can fly over the cover and shoot at him. The actual shots will likely miss, but the explosive area at their feet will take out the rest of their life
