Glad to hear your screen is doing well.
I broke my tv in for near 400 hours before even gaming lightly, that was almost 2 years ago. Never had any issue even with Battlefield 4 running on it for hundreds of hours last year.
Destinys HUD lacks any transparency, or options to change it besides the screen bounds. It needs opacity options to not further harm plasmas.

Edited by splattherpunk: 11/20/2014 4:52:39 PMI agree. I don't know the particular reasons why my tv didn't burn in. I've even passed out with a menu screen on the tv and had no burn in. I forget the model number of my tv. I did pay a good amount for it but it's old now. The picture is so vibrant I just don't want to get rid of it. It was one of Samsung's top of the line models when I purchased it. The reason I went plasma was because I saw my friends lcd tv and the color just couldn't match what I saw in the plasmas.

A good plasma is a sight to behold. I was thinking about getting mine professionally calibrated, but if the burn-in is indeed permanent, than I'm not. Please keep posting here to bring attention to this.
