Do it. You won't regret it. I bought my first plasma three years ago and have since purchased two more. The only thing that sucks is that most aren't made <50(ish) inches. So if you're looking for a smaller size you have to go led/lcd. I have a 55" LG LED in my bedroom, and although it looks great, those plasmas produce colors so perfectly it's hard to ever think of buying another LED... Just personal experience/opinion. Each type has their pros/cons. It's also said that refresh rate isn't much of a concern with a plasma because of how the pixels are individually lit...which should make it better for gaming :)

If devs would simply add a single opacity setting we would have no worries!
