I also wipe after each play session, and even the entire next day, yet I still have burn-in, I hope you are able to avoid it until this feature is added.
All this jumping through hoops just to enjoy Destiny is absurd. Bungie needs to add an opacity slider, yesterday.

Edited by mouse2k2: 11/19/2014 6:30:55 PMTrust me, I double check it everyday as I love my Panny. I burned in my projection Mitsu CRTs long ago and now always game with the input setting set as brightness higher than my Blu-ray input and contrast lower. I just turn all the lights off including the two ceiling lights I added to illuminate behind the screen. Lower ambient light and your pupils will dilate more and I can even do the raid fine now.

My settings are all set, as yours are, with image retention in mind. I have not changed my screen bounds, seeing as I didn't think going to such extremes would be needed until now. I figured lowering all my brightness and contrast settings, wipe my screen as much as I play Destiny, and use my super every time it was full just to get it off the scree would have been enough.. Please keep posting in this thread to get this simple feature added so we no longer have to suffer just for owning a plasma!

Huh, never thought about using my super all the time. will have to add that while on patrol and such where I don't have to save it for the "oh, crap!" moments.

Sad we have to do that isn't it? A simple HUD fader would fix this all.. Thanks for the posts, please keep posting here regularly so we can get this noticed!
