So, I hope most of you know about the Red vs. Blue series, it's wonderful, but I have a question regarding it.
I heard somewhere that it had honorarily been inducted into the Halo Universe and lore some time back, but I both don't know if that's true, or if it was if it's still valid with Bungie no longer in charge of Halo.
Anybody know this? Surely If it's true it's barring a few details here and there.

No see RvB bases the show off lore in the halo games but has it's own story and kind of throws most of it out the window about 80% of the time. The first instance that it gets acknowledged is when Griff mentions the master cheif blowing the halo ring up but that's about as far as they take it. UNSC, ONI (pretty sure), these are also things that are mentioned and are in the RvB universe. But what connects them also is that RvB was a contributing factor to what helped make halo popular which is why Microsoft & bungie agreed to continue the series. Burnie who is the shows creator even stated this in an interview. Also another thing is that because of this, from halo 2 onwards + the anniversary of CE, there has always been some form of RvB Easter eggs in each halo to date with the most popular being the second level of halo 3 at the start of the mission where you will hear caboose, griff, church, Simmons, sarge, doc, donut or tucker depending on what difficulty you play on will depend on who you hear. Yeah I think I went a little overboard but hope this helped :)

Halo is part of reds blue, red vs blue is not part of halo When rooster teeth went all story line with rvb they made it so that it would loosely fit the halo lore but neither bungie nor 343 acknowledge anything in the series as cannon to the universe. However, most halo games include an rvb themed achievement or Easter egg
