So Iron Banner 2.0 is back and just from descriptions, and other people's play-throughs on twitch (at work, just want to see other's input as well as inform bungie if needed) I can see some small problems with tempered. I feel that one large 12 hour boost is almost less effective for people. No one I know will play just iron banner for 12 hours straight. I also don't like the fact that by buying it from lord saladin you activate it, and that's it, I'd prefer it be a shorter term consumable 3 or 4 hour effect time that you can turn on when you want. While going through Reddit I saw that you can re-purchase from saladin once the effect has worn off, but why, I mean I figured you would pick it up so I bought it on my lunch and can't use it for the first 5 and a half hours because there is miscommunication on it from bungie. I just feel that this attempt to give you the option to boost is a detriment to what they were actually attempting, why not just give you 4x 3hour long boost consumables (or 3x 4hour long) per character, non transferrable between characters, that would guarantee that everyone gets the exact same amount of boost time. that way people who say have the week off can't use a total of say 56 hours of boost while others see the 12 hours of boost once and that's it, everyone would be balanced by the boost. and then people like myself who work 8-5 mon-fri would have an opportunity a couple times in the week to activate 1 or 2 of the boosts and then activate the remainder on the weekend and actually use the boosts the way I want rather than use it, and feel obligated to hit 12 hours straight of iron banner which idc how much bungie wants people to play, 12 hours straight of one activity is boring as all hell. thoughts?

Why not just run with it? Why do you guys feel the need to start a new thread for every little thing? Miscommunication? They didn't mention when to pick it up. You ASSUMED it was ok to grab and use as a consumable, while I see where you got the idea, you should have waited until you needed it.
