Has the game become more generous post patch?
I received only my second ever purple engram today whilst patrolling Mars. It was totally useless to me naturally, but was it simply coincidence or have drops become more generous with this latest update?

Hard to say yet to be fair, think the randomness is still crazy though. completed the nightfall this morning & got an exotic helmet.... the exact same exotic helmet that I've had for many weeks
