Edited by Seraph: 11/18/2014 7:19:09 PMI've only logged about 2 - 3 hours worth of Destiny gameplay time since the update so I can't confirm this but I'm definitely getting a lot more blue ( rare ) engrams after the patch. I even picked up a purple and I got an ascendant shard out of chest in the Cosmodrome. Before the patch 95% of all my engrams were green so it's quite a novelty to be finding rare loot now. Still completely useless to me given my level but hey, it's a start. One of the blue engrams even turned into a 'Zombie Apocalypse WF47' ( the Legendary Machine gun sold by Arcite 99-40, the Cruicble Quartermaster ), scared the living crap out of me. I'm not sure what to make of it but I hope my luck holds out ( and potentially gets better ).

It was mostly Rares, but for me last night, I noticed that, too. Between the Daily Heroic and just a few patrols to knock off a couple of bounties, I ended up with eleven Rares and a Legendary. Twice, I hit the "jackpot" chests on Mars. One with two Rares, and one with a Rare and Legendary. Got jack and shit worth mentioning from them, though. So, the Crytarch still is a bastard. :-)

Also in beating the Weekly Heroic (lvl 28) last night I got 2 legendary engrams. Never heard of that happening before. Not that I'm complaining :)
