Same Tv, same burn in. I know bungie has said they are working on it, but this needs to be fixed asap.

Agreed, my VT cost me near $3k! The HUD is so badly burnt in I fear it's permanent. It's downright irresponsible for Bungie to not address this! BUNGIE! You're game is console exclusive, and played on millions of plasmas with an average of 4 hour gameplay sessions! If that's all they use their TV for the HUD WILL BURN IN! PLEASE GET ON YOUR SHIT!

It is a big problem, but if that's all they use their TV for like you said, it won't matter that much to them.

PS: Please help keep this thread up so we can get this changed!

I agree, it's a much bigger problem than it seems to most. If Bungie adds an opacity slider like the one in BF4, from full HUD to near completely see-through/invisible, you could play Destiny and Destiny only on a plasma and not have to worry. As long as the pixels and getting activated.

Mine is definitely permanent. I ran the scroll bar for all of last weekend while I was out of town. It is considerably less visible than it was, but it is still there. I am pretty upset.

I'm sorry to hear that, it's unfortunate such intelligent people can make a great game, yet neglect simple means to save their customers hardware. I believe mine is permanent also. I ran the slider all day yesterday, last night, and will all day today. As of this morning it was still very visible. I'll rattle the cages until this gets addressed. Please join me in keeping this thread afloat, posting on Twitter hash tagging bungie and other employee accounts, and even sending them mail. This is 2014 and simple HUD options for plasma owner should be standard. It frankly temps me to visit the studio.
