I play primarily on my 360, but I also have the PS4 Destiny bundle. The graphics on the 360 are noticeably sharper now. It used to be pretty blurry compared to the PS4. It's almost like it went from 480p to 720p on the 360 now, which is great but has me wondering why it ever looked as bad as it did.
The lighting is what really separates the next gen graphics from the previous gen graphics, especially now. It is so much more dynamic and realistic on my PS4.
Now for a conspiracy theory. LOL
They wanted next gen to look a lot better so they dumbed down current gen to give you motivation to get the next gen goodies. Now that the game has been out for a while and they need to compete with all the new titles being released, they took let the current gen game run in HD instead of SD. I always had the feeling when playing this game on my 360 that it looked like SD, not HD.

I'm sensing a distinct lack of... negativity... in this thread. I haven't dived in yet since the patch, but from the notes I've read and the feedback on here, sounds like a really great update. Nice work!

Draw distances appeared to have increased a bit, too. Higher LOD models also appear to be loading at further distances - so I think that there were definitely some general engine tweaks in play.

It's called Activi$ion pushing Bungie to get the game out on deadline even if it's not as polished as they wanted, and Bungie taking the time to clean up the graphics/improve the lighting effects post-launch.

This makes sense.
