Has anyone tried to figure out why there is a strange connection between scopes which reduce recoil but increase instability? This is minor but also confusing. When choosing between the three scope options for several guns, there is usually one that offers reloading advantages, or range advantages etc...well I have seen scopes that offer less recoil, but somehow, the gun stability stat goes down when they are selected. Thoughts? Is this the difference between vertical kicking of the gun and side to side sway?

The scope you had on prior was superior in recoil management regardless of description. Basically dont listen to the description. The choices of scopes and what they do are pretty bad in this game.

My only thought is that maybe the stat increase/decrease is relative to an undisclosed value. Meaning that the IS can offer "reduced recoil" but perhaps the default IS reduces it moreso, by default. So you'll experience a drop in the stability value, but only because the original IS was already better. This may not be the case, as I never bugger with the scopes (they don't seem to actually change anything for me), just my thought.
