Wait, so the Didact is dead?
Or just digitally "saved?"
glad to see you're still here btw
Composed. He's "dead" in the sense it's not actually him, though at that point it turns into a philosophical debate on the nature of one's consciousness.
-
So could he come back as a Promethean? Or in any sense at all? I really enjoyed his character through the novels and H4, and would hate for his time to be up already.
-
Chief thinks it's only a period of time before he returns.
-
So if someone wanted to bring him back Promethean style, it would be possible? Or is that not how it works? The composer technology alludes me at times and I would like to know more about it.
-
Yeah, it is possible. Theoretically, if the Didact were somehow able to manipulate external systems, he could go through the process to give himself a physical form, even though it'd be entirely robotic.
-
So he may come back or you think we'll get an even bigger enemy?
-
He'll definitely be returning. Curiously enough, when Chief faces him again, he will be man, and the Didact a machine. Man vis-a-vis machine, much?

I see. Very symbolic to John's personal dilemmas being brought to light today. I saw you said there may be another threat on a verge of showing itself. Think it may be the Flood now that we know it still remains on the SoF and maybe on the edges of the Galaxy? Or could it be some massive, extinction bearing threat akin to the Reapers from Mass Effect?
