An open letter to the person responsible for balancing the RNG of Destiny
To whoever it may concern,
I, Jalim Prime, am proud to say that since hitting level 26, I have defeated Atheon 4 times, and while it may have been nice to get Chatterwhite on the first run through, it's not so fun when it's [url=http://i.imgur.com/9ma2z7j.png]ALWAYS THE DROP.[/url] That isn't to say that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed my time running through the vault, collecting ascendent materials, not hitting level 30. But it isn't enjoyable when I'm sitting here, holding my breath, hoping for the raid chestpiece to push me up to the coveted level cap, but no. It's Chatterwhite. Every. Single. Time. that and ascendant energy, which at this point, I don't think I'll need anymore of for the rest of my days playing Destiny. Please, just fix the loot drops on VoG, that's all I ask.

2 RepliesThere is nothing to fix its random. All the level 30s u see have been raiding from day one. Took me 5 weeks to get my first 30. The next week gave me a full loadout for my 2ed 30 while my hunter is on week 7 down just a chest piece.

Back in 2013 i heard they would do something that you shouldn't grind to much they probably ignored that

Chatter white will always be given on normal raid. Do the hard raid from now on

You can consider yourself lucky if you already have 2 armor pieces in only 4 run, ive noticed on average most players take around 12-15 runs for a full set, it only took me 14 to get a full set on my titan but i just got my first piece on my warlock after 9 raids... the loot system definitely keeps you coming back to play every week for a couple of hours which im more than happy to have a game that i dont return after a week

You should probably just quit now then . I have 34 completions and I'm still waiting on leg armor for my warlock. On a good note I also went 4 raids with only getting a chatter whites and a cloak for my hunter . next week just play for fun and don't expect anything but chatter white that way when you actually do get something it will be like winning the lottery.
