Im not exactly a collecter of video games rather than I am of cool stuff I can put on my shelf. Something that has managed to escape my grasp for years so happens to be Bungie's official first game Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete. The game seems to be almost impossible to find in any original sort. Even the almighty Ebay doesn't have any records of ever even having a sale of any copy on there. As far as rare games go, there is usually some trace of them somewhere. This however doesn't seem to have existed.
After much digging, It seems there was only ever 2500 copies produced. Thats pretty rare, but nothing that should be this hard in finding. And yes, I know there packaged it up again in some ActionSacks. Im only interested in the Original box set, If there even is one. It's not even in the league of 'Akalabeth' (some of you oldies might know what that is) but It does seem to be highly ilusive.
Bungie doesn't usually dain to respond to these types of threads but I would appreciate some light being shed on where I could find a copy. I know you guys have copy hidden somewhere *readys grappling hook*

Back when it came out I owned six copies, and my buddy had the seventh. We used to cart our Mac LCs over to each other's houses in coolers, wrapped in blankets, because we were so worried about head crashes. We'd set up our daisy chain and play all night long sucking down Mt. Dew. This game was really fun, really enduring. It never got old, unlike most games. Your characters gained strength from wins, so something carried over to the next game. I had some really deadly monks, even-skilled players that could beat a specialist every time. Also, even when you died, you could rat out your enemies as a ghost. I kept the game for a long time, probably ten years... but it's been another ten since I've owned a Mac. I would give anything to be able to play this game again. I found a downloadable copy, and hopefully it is "cracked", but as near as I can tell I'd need 7 vintage Macs running Appletalk to play it. I became a huge Bungie fan, buying Pathways, all the Marathons, and so on. This is from a guy who pirated most of his video games. I love how even in Halo there's a little bit of a reference, as in the MJOLNIR Mark V. But I've never found a game like this since. The sad part about fancy graphics is that back in the day game designers had to focus on playability, and fun, not just blood spatters and lens flares. Please, please, somebody release an Internet version of this game. The 'net was a baby when it came out. It's grown up now. I know there are other people who would enjoy it.
