I guess I should just delete all my charactors and start over to remove the bad karma.....
I do not want to sound like I am complaining or anything, but WTF!
10 days 16 hours of game play, 64,893 total kills, 4,942 kills in the raid and I STILL cannot get a piece of armor I need from the raid. My Titan only gets chest pieces and my warlocks only get boots. just got the 4th pair of raid boots tonight. so all three are stuck at 29 permanently. I get RNG, but that does not begin to explain the string of bad luck I have with this game. seriously it is a huge let down and for some reason I just keep trying and get more fed up every time I complete with nothing to show for it.

I'm with you brother. I even deleted my hunter and titan to make 3 warlocks to get three chances a week for a helmet and 13 raids later I still have no helmet. I'll keep playing though because it's fun to play with friends and to help them get what they need to get to thirty. BTW: I was the first in my circle of friends to get to 29 and now all of them have at least one level 30. It is disappointing.

Edited by Trooper06: 11/17/2014 8:12:04 AMI can only offer encouragement as I have 2 level 30 hunters that each have raid helms, boots and chests and exotic arms. I could not, for the life of me, obtain the raid arms. I had 2 characters going for the same drop every week totaling around 70k kills including over 7k raid kills and 19 completions (not to mention so many times we just couldn't get atheon). Finally, this past Tuesday I obtained my first pair of raid gauntlets for my hunter. So now I can swap out exotics and still have the comfort of being level 30. I obtained all of the other gear after about raid 6. So I went a dozen raids, half of them hard which meant double drops, before I finally got that one piece I needed. So how did I celebrate? I used my third slot to build a warlock and do the same frustrating grind with him, minus the benefit of having 2 play-throughs a week. Hang in there.. Also, I was at around 14 days of total play time between the two characters before I got 1 full raid set. You're not alone.

1 ReplyApparently the RNG is tweaked to not give us what we need and keep dropping duplicates. How thoughtful of the devs.

The new Iron Banner should solve this for you. I cant get the hunter boots for the life of me.

i had 3 diff characters, decided to try luck with making a duplicate hunter and remove warlock. neatly put all good warlock gear in the vault. didn't notice any difference honestly. so i made a warlock back to try 3d subclass when new dlc lands. rng is so rng.

Look 30 does not matter tbh. In 3 weeks next raid. 30 means nothing since it will be 32 now.

Just got my vanguard rank up to 24 and i had 1 coin wtfl . I get lucky in raid have dups of most gear and 4 vex myth done it lgt to get them tho easy when you have all 30 in fire team

Played the raid three times. Got a different piece of gear each time to hit 30. BUT..30 is not the be all and end all. And kinda kills the fun until the DLC. At which point 30 wont matter. So honestly its no big deal. Eventually we should have 3 raids. So with 3 characters thats 9 raids a week. Loot will come...

Yep, I'm the same. 15 runs with my Hunter, no armour drops.
