I'm curious as to what everyone thinks the alternative to this would have been?
Bungie is contractually obligated to the DLC. So, given the 3 month window before game and DLC are you suggesting that they should have released everything they had them started from scratch on DLC with a 3/month launch window?
Or, given that they obviously had to do some work on the DLC before launch, had they simply not had the placeholders there is all this drama avoided? Even though it would have been exactly the same thing (finished to semi-finished content that was done before launch but not included in the game) and simply forced a bigger DLC download...
