what is the best way to get the most ascendant shards?
I need 6 more ascendant shards until I hit level 30. I don't want to wait till the next Tuesday to do the rade and get shards?

Raid, daily, public events.

Raid bro. And do a public event and daily heroic at lvl 28 everyday.

Buy legendary armor with marks and then shard it. Or you could ride around looking for public events

On a lucky day that can be 9 shards a day with little effort. In any case it provides a steady stream of AM and VM. Use unneeded Vanguard marks to buy legendary gauntlets from the Vanguard... 3 shards each there.
