So, i played a good bit with a friend today. In the morning, we both got our Last Words, but he got something else special. He played a vanguard strike, getting two decoherents. He decrypts them, and gets a legendary primary from Rahool's package, getting a Hard Light from it.Alright, lucky him. Earlier in the week, he got THREE exotic bounties, each different ones and no duplicates, completing all three. Finishing SGA's bounty, he gets that. He also received his 2nd Gjallarhorn from the raid on his main. Ok, I'm now slightly bothered by this. While playing rumble, he comes in first, getting Universal Remote. Admittedly, it not a very good gun, but still his 4th Exotic today. Then we run the raid. He gets a pair of boots. Specifically, a pair that I've been waiting for for good bit of time. 8 exotics in a week's time, 4 in one day. Are you serious? We've probably invested the same amount of timer into this game as each other, but he gets all the good stuff.
Yes, I understand RNG.
Yes, I understand specifically what each letter represents, specifically the R.
How is this fair? Along with hundreds of other players, I'm stuck left behind in the dust. If in-game equality means so much, why does RNG exist in this game?
Why not add trading? There's not really a way to get exotics, so everything is random.
There is no guarantee that I will ever get these raid boots, or any others.
This, specifically, is horrible news. Other people are getting duplicate items left and right, some needing one, some needing all but one.
Trading will, in no way, harm this game, in fact, it will make it better.
It might take away some time spent, yeah, but I believe that the people with us now are in it for the long run.
Guardians, please promote this so we can get a response to why RNG dominates this game.
>inb4 meg git gud
Go ahead, call me a "meg," whatever that means. Do you actually think this will change the way I think of this?
Thanks for reading this guys, kinda ranting here.

By the way trading would -blam!- this game up pretty bad, imagine all the guys that just got there raid gear handed to them from a friends that plays a lot. Now there would be even more 30's that have no idea what they are doing lol

Idk man rng is rng. I understand that some weapons and gear seem impossible to get but it's the same chance for you then it is with everyone else. Just something we gotta live with I guess
