You've destroyed your own game.
I've played destiny since the alpha, had very high hopes for this game while at the same time trying to keep an open mind about how you(bungie) want YOUR game to be. Well lets first get a few things clear.
You call this an mmo, when it has 0, ZERO, mmo aspects other then that it is well an online multiplayer game. Even recently, you've gutted the things that gave your game to even be redeemed as an mmo.
I have yet to see any real fixes or buffs to anything that needs them instead you just push out broken and buggy content THATS ALREADY ON THE GAME DISC.
I can literally sit here and make a list of about a thousand different things that are wrong with this game, and still not cover it all.
I will admit however this has been one of the single handedly BEST gaming communities I have ever been apart of and that is the ONLY reason I have stayed for as long as I have.
But lets get to the biggest problem currently which is the raid. You guys have destroyed something great. The ONLY thing that had any REAL strategy in your game (WHICH IS HEALTHY FOR AN MMO GAME BTW.) So what do you do? Oh, people are easily beating our raid because they fully understand the raid and have set up groups to quickly and efficiently complete the raid. LETS MAKE IT HARDER BY REMOVING ITS KEY STRATEGY POINT. Are you truly that stupid?
Please bungie, do yourself a favor, stop destroying your game. Listen to your players for once in your career.
But lets get to the real reason I'm finally through with your game. This horrid, and absolutely disgusting loot system. Today I ran the raid for the 5th time and completed it like I always do. Today was the 5th time Atheon has given me chatter-Effing-White and ascendant materials. This can not be RNG because the odds are impossible. It's not logically possible, to receive the same loot 5 times in a row from the same boss every time when he has as big a loot pool as he does. Your loot system has made it literally impossible for me to progress in your game. It has nothing to do with luck, it has nothing to do with skill. Its you loot system. I am not the only one this has happened to which makes it even more baffling.
You want people to have an epic story on how they got their loot? Well hows this, I had to buy it because the loot system made it impossible for me to progress through normal play.
That's the story more then half your players have to settle with, because no matter how many times they do the epic feats, they get nothing but unusable loot.
Your game isn't fun Bungie, Or millions of people wouldn't be saying the exact same thing I am right now. fix your game, ill come back. till then, you wont see another dime from me.
AND FIX DOESN TMEAN NERF INTO THE GROUND DONT ADOPT RIOTS IDEALS.

7 RepliesI see you like hyperbole. Go ahead and name one million people who are saying what you are saying. you don't even have to go into multiple millions, just one will suffice. List a hundred, not even a thousand, legitimate issues, and you will have some degree of credibility. Bungie does not call this an MMO, though there are multiple MMO elements, such as areas with certain level range enemies, skill trees, gear with stat bonuses, multiple currencies redeemable for gear, group based activities, and likely a few things I forgot to mention. You must have missed the buffs for hand cannons, pulse rifles, and scout rifles, but I guess it's easy to forget the things you liked. Also, the content on disc you're referring to? Please tell me you meant queen's wrath and Iron banner? But even those aren't solely disc based, since Bungie can manipulate those from their end. The gear from the events was the only bit really on the disc. Did you ever take statistics? Because you should know that in any chance-based system, there is the (very very low) potential to never ever see a particular result. I have never once, out of about 10 times, received anything but ascendants or a class item from the gorgon chests, but they can give exotic gear. This is mathematically possible and I accept that. Criticism is good and healthy for good game development, as long as it's based in truth, which yours is not.
