I still say getting strange coins and buying from Xur is more of an earned item then and rng drop, because you have to bust your ass doing the weekly strike vs killing a level 6 mob and getting an rng drop

Yeah i understand and agree with that part.. but my whole point is that u did earn the item.. just got lucky it was a good item
