But honestly, for a long time Aliens fan, getting to wander around on a canonical Sulaco and Hadley's Hope made me very happy. So I was probably their target audience of 35-45 year olds who play video games and still love the movie after all these years (and probably have it on VHS, DVD, DVD special edition and Blu-ray).

More recently: shadow of mordor kicked ass. When I saw the first gameplay vid I thought it looked like the most bad ass game ever. And it was definitely a lot of fun

GTA 5. The level of hype was enormous. The wait was worth it. IMHO nobody delivers on hype better than Rockstar.

Definitely not destiny.. But dark souls sure did. I still play almost daily.
