Games that live up to their hype?
What games that came out recently, or relatively recently actually SUCCEEDED in living up to the hype that was built up before release?

1 ReplyCoD It's rare for a CoD developer to lie to us. The only time I remember this happening was back in Ghosts. They said you would automatically mantle walls if you ran towards them. That never happened.

MW2. Every map and mission is iconic in the franchise.

Anyone who pre-ordered it for console had to wait a day or two to get their actual copy since the company expected less console sales and produced less than expected. Those on Steam were as equally excited, since the first PAYDAY did really well. That marketing campaign they did, with all the live-action trailers, those helped keep the hype alive. Still goin to this day, with new heists, characters, and items.

TEKKEN Tag 2 was really well made.

Hopefully Final Fantasy XV. Type-0 doesn't have that much hype so that shouldn't be an issue. Batman Arkham Knight looks promising as does UC4, and KH3 I am personally hyped for.

This has only gotten me more pumped up for the next game in the Elder Scrolls series. (I'm not counting ESO, I haven't personally played it but I heard it was pretty much garbage).
