I'm tired of you people. Why can't YOU whiners understand that NOTHING in this game is "earned". Xûr isn't a shortcut, nor a cheat. He's a convenience store for people that can't put in long hours. Cheating would be trading exotics to other players *cough* Borderlands *cough*
and what about those rare few who DON'T pool together coins from three characters? Are they not earning anything from weeks of waiting and saving?

I totally agree with you. And besides, getting Exotic gear from Xur can be a means of preparing for the raid. The main reason I bought Armamentarium was to boost my light level to 27 so I could actually have a chance in the raid.

I call bullshit on that one.. i put in work gettin coins so saying i didnt earn em makes u look like a fool. Why do people think nothing is earned in this game.. complete morons. Just because some people are luckier then others doesnt mean they didnt put in the effort and earn their shit. Everything is earned.. didnt you get the memo?

Well I'll give you the coins part. But I wasn't speaking about getting coins. I was talking about weapon and armor drops since I'm assuming that's what the OP is talking about. I will agree with you about putting in hours for Strange Coins. But I don't believe that getting the Thunderlord from a Nightfall = "earning" it.
