To clarify I have been doing kick boxing since I was about 9 and a half, and have recently stopped due to many exams at school, and lack of motivation to do it.
I would like some suggestions on what I can do instead, to keep me fit and in shape. I am currently considering body weight exercises and weights. Obviously cardio will come into those as well.

Well although school may get in the way you may want to look into different martial arts if you're just bored with kick boxing but want to continue with martial arts. Some advice: don't be like me, I was in the same situation as you at the same age and I really regret quitting karate, so find something you like to do soon or you'll fall into the habit of being a couch potato.
