Earners vs. Xurners -- lets end this now!
We all know the only way to earn gear is to put in the time and get it from raids or strikes etc from engrams.
Why do people persist to say getting coins is earning the exotics. They might as well put up a free sign and just have Santa Xur give you what ever you want while sitting on his lap.
Basically your a mouth breathing casual if your buying the trash from Xur. People need to put in the work and go do a raid for once in their life. You know a boss fight .. derp
People complaing about stuck at 29 are in the same casual boat. Do work like us 30's did you lazies. We weren't sitting at Xur feet waiting for scraps... we were killing bosses

Beating the raid/strike/nightfall give you the opportunity to receive exotics. That's it. None are guaranteed. You earn what is specified on that particular mission. ie. 2 ascendent material and engram for the daily story.

The only exotics one can earn are from exotic bounties. Getting exotics from engrams, night falls, crucible are luck. What 2 kills going -20 let's give you a suros lol. It's all based off luck. Everything you buy from xur is earned. You do the weeklies to get guaranteed strange coins which you save up to buy from xur. I know someone who has passed the hard raid more than 15 times and has only gotten the corrective measure from it. There's many bad kids who push off Atheon and get the vex lol. All this earning stuff should stop. Most of it is luck.

Random drops are not earning, but a lucky chance after hours and hours. Xur takes coins earn by chance an some strikes that guaranteed them. Then he trade those coins for guns "Earning" and "xurning" are both legit. Although xur guns should be more expensive. Because playing strikes for a week does not guaranteed an exotic. However, waiting for xur for a week n palying 2-4 strikes will guaranteed the coins to get an exotic

Maybe you should be spending more time in the vault and less knocking Xur for giving people a real chance at getting what might be their first exotics

Even if you have three characters your guaranteed strange coin payout is only 27 per week. I only have one character so I have to bank a couple weeks or get lucky to buy from Xur. I have to raid, collect engrams and kill bosses for strange coins so how are you any different? I complete strikes for engrams just like you do. It's no my fault or anyone else's you are too stubborn to buy an item because you'd rather wait for RNG to give you a golden shower. Chill out with the earners nonsense. It's all bloody random.

1 ReplyIf exotics weren't meant to be bought as well as "earned", then strange coins would not be in the game, nore would Xur and all of the agents of the nine. The only way to "earn" said exotic weapon is from Exotic weapon bounties. Everything else is RNG.

I had a guy in a strike with me get 12 kills while I had like 130. He got an exotic. Your theory is invalid.
