Earners vs. Xurners -- lets end this now!
We all know the only way to earn gear is to put in the time and get it from raids or strikes etc from engrams.
Why do people persist to say getting coins is earning the exotics. They might as well put up a free sign and just have Santa Xur give you what ever you want while sitting on his lap.
Basically your a mouth breathing casual if your buying the trash from Xur. People need to put in the work and go do a raid for once in their life. You know a boss fight .. derp
People complaing about stuck at 29 are in the same casual boat. Do work like us 30's did you lazies. We weren't sitting at Xur feet waiting for scraps... we were killing bosses

This is just MY opinion, and I am in no way saying you are wrong, however i strongly disagree with you. A player who spends a lot of time in strikes and raids and gets lucky with drops does not work any harder then someone who has to play with the intention of gathering a currency to have a CHANCE to purchase a beneficial piece of gear. I dont feel like there is any difference between buying from xur or finding gear, at least beyond how it was obtained. You worked for it either way, and you either got lucky it dropped, or got lucky xur didnt troll you and sell something you either have or dont want/need. Bottom line for me is i feel that the implementation of xur is a great design to the game. They are catering to they die hard E-Peen players by giving you gear that cant be obtained elsewhere in raids, and giving us casuals the ability to get gear that can COMPETE with it by other means. Creates a form of equality among play styles.

Earn is such a bad word. It implies that there is a set task to accomplish the goal and no luck or minimal luck is involved. I would think the phrase "win" would be more appropriate

1 ReplyThere is no earn, you can't possibly farm for specific armor piece or weapon. If trading marks and coins for equipment is the only sure way to get the specific item of your choice.

Getting lucky with Rng is not earning the only exotics you can truly earn are the exotic weapons you get from the bounties so stop complaining about xur it's just a game get over it
