Earners vs. Xurners -- lets end this now!
We all know the only way to earn gear is to put in the time and get it from raids or strikes etc from engrams.
Why do people persist to say getting coins is earning the exotics. They might as well put up a free sign and just have Santa Xur give you what ever you want while sitting on his lap.
Basically your a mouth breathing casual if your buying the trash from Xur. People need to put in the work and go do a raid for once in their life. You know a boss fight .. derp
People complaing about stuck at 29 are in the same casual boat. Do work like us 30's did you lazies. We weren't sitting at Xur feet waiting for scraps... we were killing bosses

Boom, a legendary dropped. Did I earn that? Did I really earn that..? Really..? I thought not. But after completing the weekly solo on my level 26. I got 9 strange coins. Did I earn those? I feel like I did. When I purchase something with the coins I earned, I'll feel like I earned that too.

Exotics from RNG are pure luck. Exotics from Xur are earned. The logical argument that says otherwise doesn't exist.

The only gear you actually earn are the exotics rewarded from exotic bounties everything else is rng RNJesus LUCK.

Unless you spend hours farming one boss, and this boss is the only drop for this item, you haven't technically "earned" it. The same goes with having to perform insane feats to get an item i.e. flawlessly dodging lightning 200 times in FFX. Earning through RNG is a system on par with earning through Xur. So just get off your high horse and play the damn game.

The only thing you "30s" did differently is have better luck you stupid ass kid. Your engram theory is also flat out retarded. When ever you decrypt an engram the reward is picked at random out of the possible pool table of rewards for that paticular engram you dumb shit "derp" go be an idiot somewhere else no one likes you tard.

Its RNG moron. Nothing except for exotic bounties, raid gear, or Xur is earned. Its all just randomly handed out. At least with Xur we have to gather the coins in order to buy what we want instead of blindly running through the game hoping RNGeezus will take pit on you.

I'm a Level 30 and.....90% of my exotics were bought. Xur is not a copout, he's the only CONSISTENT rewarding avenue in a game where RNG can reward or NOT reward players for grinding (sad truth). Get Coins Get Gear - Fact Do Raid Get Gear - Assumption

I'm pretty sure you had to ya know go kill bosses for those coins.. So why put your trust in the hands of RNGesus and hope for better when you can reward yourself with what you want.. Let me ask you this.. If you got a job where you worked for a company that didn't pay you in money they just picked a random bill to pay would you be happier with that or would you be happier receiving a check.. Now I know looking at the two seems way off.. No ones gonna work as hard in destiny as they do in a job.. Unless you're a paid gamer then you can just go jump off a bridge into some lava.. Because let's face it.. We'd all love to trade a job for being paid for gaming.. Anyway back to the point.. You're still rewarded with coins and what you choose to do with them IS your reward instead of waiting on sometimes crappy drops.. Why don't you go do a nightfall or weekly heroic once in a while.. Its still rewarding..

WTF is your deal boy. Why complain to the community and trash them knowing Bungie is the one who brought Xur into existence. Why can't people take the easy road to level up when it is possible. You know that saying "Work smarter not work harder." To me it sounds like your the butt-hurt player that after 3 weeks of raiding you got some exotic you wanted so bad, then Friday Xur came and troll'd your ass with that exotic. I'm in college and play football, it's tons of work so I don't have time and need xur to drop off a gift every once in a while. I have the gear to be 30 if I wanted it's just not the gear for my playstyle. It contains too much strength and not enough intellect for my liking since I'm a warlock. Im stuck at 28 because I haven't received any raid armor the passed 3 weeks
