My fireteam has completed the normal raid every week since it began and after the latest run last night not one of us has full raid gear. In fact one has received absolutely none. To say we're getting fed up is an understatement.
Don't know whether some will play again at all and TBH I can't say I blame them.
Just wanted to get that off my chest and hope that you're having more luck than we are.

Edited by frenchpoliser: 11/13/2014 11:53:26 AMI can understand your frustration, I know of a few people in the same boat. The raid winds me up as well, although I can't claim to have had the same bad luck with it as many. However Bungie really seem to have ballsed up what is one of the best bits of the game. I ran it last night properly for the first time in ages due to family reasons. I really enjoyed the teamwork and experience but it was let down by a number of things. Glitching Vex on the door opening section, single people being teleported on the final boss and then the lackluster loot. I was really hoping for the raid chest and/or boots with the scout rifle as a nice consolation. In reality I got a load of shards, some energy and the shader. I now have 98 shards with nothing to use them on. I made the statement that I thought you should be guaranteed one piece of armour per run, but then as Tribeard said, people would probably stop running it after four or five weeks. I don't know what the answer is but it needs to be more rewarding than it is currently. One chap that I ran my first ever raid with weeks ago (Uncle PSX) has now overtaken me after being a couple of levels below back then. Now much of that is down to his commitment to regular raiding, something I've not been able to achieve and with recent bad family news is something unlikely to change, but the galling thing for me wasn't his relative rise but that upon checking his raid gear I noted that the stats on each piece of his full set were Intellect, Discipline or a mixture of the two. IMO these are the best stats for most builds and they're what I'm after. Unfortunately the two pieces I have got are gloves with all Strength and the helm with Discipline and Strength. Now I don't ever plan to run a melee warlock and with the pinnacle of end game content being the VoG I can't see that changing any time soon, so I've never used the gloves (I use Sunbreakers instead), but in theory it is possible to get a full set of raid armour with just Strength as the stat. You think you're pissed off without any gear, think how bad it would be if you finally got the set and your super and grenade recharge were at 0%! Anyway, as I said my predicament in-game is not as bad as that of many others by a long chalk, but bloody annoying all the same. I keep coming back to Destiny but must say my patience is running pretty thin.
