Their was an RP group I participated in back on B.old about States/Countries. During a 50 States battle, I became Alaska and put all my resources into drilling a hole to the center of the earth. I then dropped a black hole generator down the hole and imploded earth. Why? Because Texas refused to trade with me. Probably mad that he was only the 2nd biggest state. Loser.
Moral of the story: Obey or get spagettified.

No one even questioned why every move involved building a giant hole. Big (but largely compressed) mistake.
