I'm assuming that most of you have probably already seen the list of materials and gear that are being introduced in the upcoming DLC. If not, I've included the video above because he lists off all of the items during the whole video by putting them onscreen. Gonna be honest, I've never watched it with the sound on, so I have no idea what he's saying the entire time. Feel free to do the same, it doesn't really affect the topic I'd like to discuss.
In the DLC, several new materials and items are being introduced. There are the Exotic Weapon Core and Armor Shard, who's descriptions say "For making ultimate improvements to high quality [armor/weapons]."
There is also the Vex Raid Rare material, which says "Vex Raid Rare material for Vex exotic blueprint." There were several other items and materials listed, but those were the three that caught my attention the most.
Now, my question is this: do you think that this means there will be a new crafting system implemented? The VRR material mentions a blueprint, which could be something new being added in to allow Guardians to build their own guns after carefully collecting all of the materials, sort of similar to how the pocket infinity bounty requires you to use parts gathered from fusion rifles. And I took the weapon core and armor shard as being materials to make crafted weapons into Exotic crafted weapons.
But I may be wrong, so I figured I would ask you, my fellow Guardians, what your thoughts on the matter are.
