Hi DeeJ, thanks for your work here as always.
Just a quick note on something I'm seeing lately. Pulse Rifles don't appear to get a lot of use in PvE (which is more my thing) or PvP. My personal experience is that they feel just a little underpowered in comparison to Scout Rifles. As for example, I have an A.1F19X-RYL Scout Rifle and a Super Pox VLO, both maxed at 300 Attack. Last night while on the Weekly and Nightfall Strikes, I really felt like the A.1 Scout was just a better and more versatile weapon. The Super Pox does potentially do more damage with a single trigger-pull, but it also requires tighter aiming and has less effective range. Further, since the Super Pox fires a burst of three rounds and has a noticeable pause in between bursts, I kind of feel like the A.1 actually has better DPS on sustained hits. Also for reference, I recently had a Bad Seed Down, also pushed up to 300 Attack, that really felt lackluster in comparison to either the A.1 or Super Pox. The Bad Seed had a strong RoF, but didn't feel like it put nearly enough damage on the table to make it a viable choice compared to the other two. Bear in mind, the Super Pox has two damage-boosting perks (Glass Half Full, which really needs a rework, and Reactive Reload) and the Bad Seed Down had Reactive Reload as well, but both these guns seem weaker than the A.1 (which has Luck in the Chamber, but that's just a single round).
Please let me know if I'm missing something here. I really love Pulse Rifles and would like them to have a seat at the table. Thanks.
