This was where I was two weeks ago. I even started a new character and played on the vita for awhile under a different account. I could find ways to make it more entertaining and new but my expectations (based on what Bungie stated) was that they (Bungie) would do that for me. They created that expectation. I think most pain comes when life doesn't meet our expectations. I've absolutely gotten my money's worth, no regrets and there's high probability the game will continue to evolve and have value and that I'll play more. I'm ok waiting and got some great games coming soon to scratch my itch. I would love to see the game Bungie had talked about show up, but even if it doesn't, they created an amazing product which deserves every bit of praise it's gotten. And a lot of the criticism too.
