I've seen a lot of people on this forum talking about how badly they want this exotic piece,I got it some weeks ago and I dismantled it,few minutes ago, after lvling up the cryptarch,I got a legendary engram that turned into Young Ahamkara's Spine,I'm just wondering why people want it,its perks are kinda bad (IMO) and it takes the legendary gauntlets slot that has the ability to increase the reload speed with (your primary),which is a pretty important perk. Is there another reason besides its badass look to want it?

It sucks. I dismantled it and got literally nothing. Looks pretty badass though
-
Lol I've just found another Young Ahamkara's Spine from another legendary engram...
-
Just because we're all missing gloves for the light cap

Just because we're all missing gloves to hit the light cap

I tend to use Secondaries and Tripmines a lot so that's a bonus for me. Reload speed for shotguns is important.

same here lol got it from last weeks nightfall and again from an engram from the cryptarch i would never use a hunter unless it was to get the achievements and grimoire but then would delete it. i am holding on to both of them in case they implement trading

The amount of kills in pvp I have gotten from the grenade buff. Just place the nade in a corridor type location with lots of player traffic, go for a run and kill people..boom randomly get a nade kill almost every time

30 second trip mine.

Why do you shard it tho? You have space for 10 gauntlets, and it would also give you an option for staying at level 30 with regards to whatever other raid armor you've gotten. Only reason I'd shard exotic armor is if I have duplicates.
-
No there is no other reason for me
-
I use it because it's the only way I can hit lv 30 until I get gloves to drop :(
-
I wonder the same thing while I look at mine sitting in the bank.
-
Want for lvl 30. I'm only missing gauntlets.
-
Look at it!!!

Nope, it's just a badass almost extinct mystical creatures spine on your arm. Not too much really.
