To perpetuate the species to its optimal state mathematically it's wrong to just have one mate. Living things supposedly "evolve" as a species to continue our overall growth. But what is it that has us choosea significant other for life? I feel, it's deeper than evolution and should be respected on all fronts... but if your truly looking at the greater good of the species it is quite silly
