if they made a good game to start with they wouldnt have to deal with all this shit

If you don't like the game QUIT PLAYING IT! No one is forcing you to play
-
Never said i didn't like it. Stop making assumptions
-
Lol +1

So if you buy a pair of pants and the zipper breaks, what would be the proper response? Sending social services after the GAP managers kids for a bogus child abuse report? Or how about those new sneakers that had a defective/sucky sole and the glue failed? Mail some "anthrax" baking soda in a threatening letter to the manufacturer? What do you do when you spend $80 for theatre tickets and then don't like the play? Do you make a bomb threat to the theater? No business or person should have to expect such retaliation for such a petty and butthurt audience.
-
Yet they "should expect it" shouldn't come as a surprise to bungie how human nature can take a situation over board
-
I respectfully disagree. The odds that something like that would happen to a person or business is very low. One should expect bad press, forum posts and YouTube videos, MAYBE a negative PR stunt in front of the office or a dDOS attack. Not this. It's like killing your dog because I don't like the way you mow your lawn...it's an unreasonable and unanticipated reaction to you. Businesses should not "expect" their families get SWATted, kidnapped, burglarized, assaulted . Because the bulk of humanity realizes that would be insane.

You are the proverbial asshole that broke the camels back.

Real classy guy right here, people. Momma must be so proud of her little sociopath.
-
Seriously!?
-
But "swatting" someone is entirely inexcusable
-
Never said it wasnt just saying this shouldn't come as a surprise to bungie.
-
Oh man, I hear customers are unsatisfied with my game, i just bet some crazy kids will send a swat team to my house and scare my family feckless. This is a logical train of thought in what world? I hope all your purple engrams decode green until you get some damn sense.
-
Why? Why should we expect people to be such utter -blam!-nuts?
-
Because there's more than enough evidence to prove people ARE that bad. Kinda shoulda been expected at this point.
-
Edited by nkklllll: 11/10/2014 1:42:01 AMWe should expect more from people. I think this is outrageous.
-
Why are you still here?
-
Have i said the words "I dont like this game"? No? Okay.
-
No you didn't. But when most people talk trash about something, it is usually a pretty safe assumption that they don't like it.
-
know what they say about assuming
-
Lol, I figured that someone would pull this "gem" out much sooner. My point is that most people don't bash things that they like. If someone is trashing something that they like, they have already made an ass out of themselves.
-
It's called constructive criticism. I love the game. It's the smoothest gameplay I've ever encountered. Everything that is there works pretty flawlessly. What's not there is a story. So yup, the vacation spot is crap, but damned if i won't go every year if the ride stays this fun.
-
Yeah. But if someone asks you about the vacation spot would you just tell them that it is bad and leave it at that? Or would you let them know that even though it wasn't what you had hoped for you still had fun and will likely go back? There is nothing constructive about saying that Destiny is bad and just leaving it at that.
-
Actually, i scrolled until i found it. I wasn't defending anybody's comment. I was replying to your statement that people don't bash things they like. I will bash the things i see as deeply flawed with destiny most assuredly, but I still reccomend it to people.
i just add the caveat that if you want character development, this ain't the game for you
-
I wasn't trying to say that people don't bash things that they like. I was trying to say that if you like something you usually wouldn't tell someone that it is bad and say nothing good about it at all.
