Ok, how in the -blam!- did he put any lives at risk?!
Because IT IS WELL KNOWN THAT SWAT TEAM -blam!-IN' COMES INSIDE YOUR HOUSES AND SHOOT YOU ON SIGHT WITHOUT ASKING QUESTIONS.
Edit: They say clearly in the article that the family was sleeping. In the house. OMG WHAT A THREAT, SOMEONE SAVE ME.
I'm not saying I'm ok with the swatting, not in the slightest, but what are the risks really?
Stupid americans! That's the answer.

Humans make mistakes, that goes for everyone. People have died because of this before, the risk is there, the Swat team were armed and were prepared for a threat, if they acted on impulse to something that was never a threat to begin with they could have seriously harmed or killed someone.
-
Which denotes another serious problem with the great american nation. -blam!-ing swat shooting shit on sight without investigating prior on deploying that ridiculous armed force? What the -blam!- is that?
-
Makes me feel better knowing we don't have SWAT teams in the UK.
-
No we have Armed Response Teams which amount to the same thing and when the situation is too tough for them we have the SAS and we all know that they dont take prisoners.
-
Same here in Canada. The only threat there was that SWAT team. What a bunch of testosterone-driven apes with guns. Americans don't seem to realize that every other nations looks at them and are shaking their heads.
-
Did they shoot anyone? No? So they appropriately assessed the risks of the situation that presented itself? Sounds good enough to me. They went in there on the Intel that if they didn't, people were going to die.
