We all invested a lot of time into this game. Let's be honest. We are playing the same strikes over and over and over and over again. We are doing the same exact bounties every -blam!-ing day. We are playing the lackluster multiplayer that makes everyone feel cool and strong and has a terrible small amount of game modes and maps. Playing the same weekly shit over and over and over again hoping for exotics you will never get. Waiting for xur every -blam!-ing week and he ends up selling the same shit. Hoping for an update and it never comes. Getting excited from the weekly updates that is still to be yet put into the -blam!-ing game. And there is way more. Tell me, are you bored like me and is waiting for Black Friday or are you not bored and Is loving this game? If ur not bored and is enjoying the game, tell me why. I would very interested to hear your comment
Edit: -blam!- that said no explain why
Edit: thanks for 1 thousand replies. Hopefully bungie looks at this and see what people feel about the game

Hell no

No, I am not. If I do get bored I do something else.

Edited by B00ZE CLUEZ: 11/10/2014 11:38:48 AMYes, I'll come back when they fix things such as adding matchmaking for the raids(which I hope they do) weapons get a little more balanced and whatnot. Decent game, just testing others out. A few good games coming out this month that I want to play, such as ACU and gta5 (with first person mode :D).

Yeah, I think I am. But the gunplay man...it's at the level where just mowing through the same enemies still has appeal..I can't help it, it's just too good! ;-;
-
Yeah. I now play just to pass time til I find something else to do. Maybe ac unity, but unsure at this time. Mostly I do the daily, maybe some bounties, and I'll do a raid if some friends have one going. That's about it. Then I jump off and do something else.
-
Tbh if it wasn't for raids, I would most likely be done with the game.
-
It's not that i'm bored, but i would have to say there is no clear path once completing the game... ya i hqve goals but having to jump back and fourth farming to raid to faction increase to.... to..... to.....

Edited by Chit Chat: 11/10/2014 5:08:15 AMI'm level 30 and play the one class. I have multiple pieces of gear fully maxed so whenever I switch I'm still level 30. I have exotics like Gjallarhorn, Thorn, Suros Regime, Hard Light, Invective etc. And a bunch of handcannons fully maxed out along with a Shadow Price and two fusion rifles. Really all I need now is a Hawk moon and an arc fusion rifle. Also I have Timebreaker and Vex mythoclast. Am I bored? Nope. Cause even though I'm basically done I now have the chance to really start helping people with the raid or nightfall or any bounties. I really have no interest in making another class. And also it gives me time to explore. You wouldn't believe the cracks and crevasses in these areas that have hidden pathways.

I was. Til I played the raid for the first time this weekend. Amazing experience. On the edge of my seat for 2 hours. Roller coaster of emotions, from elation to despair to elation again at the end when I finally watched Atheon burn and crumble to a pile of ashes. If you're bored and haven't done the raid, I highly recommend it. Will change the way you see the game.

Nope, i'm not bored at playing the game since there's still something for me to do. I agree that the story-mode was short and they could have made it more "whole" but in general I like the game. The tedious thing in the game is farming materials for the upgrades, but hey, there are a lot of other RPGs out there that require the same amount of repetitive quests and grinding to get what you want :) I have tasted the VoG some and still looking forward to complete it. So on my end, it's all good, and soon a DLC will come out with some new material.

Nope. Got a 30 warlock with tons of Exotics and just started a Hunter so the urge is there
-
if people get bored buy another game or go out for a bit, mix things up thats how i havent got bored with it lol
-
I'm not really bored with the game. Frustrated? yeah, but not bored. I think most of that frustration just now is coming from the Thorn Crucible quest. It's doing my head in. Add to that the perpetual violent negativity on these forums and the fundamental screw-up that is a lack of an in game lobby then sprinkle on some RNG goodness to finish off and you've pretty much got my frustrations with this game. But it's not boring for me - not yet anyway, I still haven't set foot in the VoG so there is still some mystery there for me.

I agree this definitely is not a "MMO" as Bungie and Activision said it was going to be. Ive so many hours into destiny and I still have the same Level 17 breast plate and trying to gain rank 3 in new monarchy faction. Im seriously thinking about throwing this game into the trash because its repetitive as hell, if I wanted a repetitive game I would have bought COD. Destiny is the biggest let down of the Year. Well done Bungie and Activision the most boring game of the Year goes to use.
-
Nope not bored. Still too much to do. But I don't play 8-12 hours a day
-
Im having whatever the opposite of fun is
-
-
Not at all. I make my own fun in the game tho.
-
The game is what you make it.
-
Only material farming tires me

Edited by illqo : 11/10/2014 9:15:15 AMNo, I think the answer is who you play with decides. The game is a venue to have a rock solid platform to play with my friends. For the first time for me story is secondary, repetitive gameplay just allows us to perfect what we are doing, the raid lets us show off what we have learned, my favorite in game character are my squad mates. I see bungies goal pretty clearly, and I think they are onto something solid here. In the last month destiny has only been taken out twice because it was a slow night for my clan. I don't even want to buy cod yet because I just want it's storyline and I hear it's not worth full price. The game is about your team,it's about exploration rolling either 3 or 6 deep, it's about arguing key points in lore, or making fun of your ghost while you pop 6 dregs in a row airborne. Are there problems, yes, the rng occasionally leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but at the same time it removes competing for gear from your group allowing you to congrat the other guy on his drop. Doing the raid isn't not about the cool loot, it's about doing the raid. A strike is about finding that best weapon and competing with your squad for kills. If there is one thing I do want from this game currently is for some kind of custom game that allows clan vs clan matches. because I would love for my group to compete in a tourney top see where we rank.

I have tbf but I did play every night up until last week. I'm taking a breather and just logging in for weeklys and raids for a bit.
-
I've had moments but no... after aw turned out same old I'm all goods. Destiny is my jam now
-
Ive played too much in too little time. I'm just taking a break for a bit. Not really bored with it, if a friend wants to play I'll jump in no problem. I just have other games I was playing before it came out that I'd like to beat.
