Let's be honest. Are you bored playing Destiny?
We all invested a lot of time into this game. Let's be honest. We are playing the same strikes over and over and over and over again. We are doing the same exact bounties every -blam!-ing day. We are playing the lackluster multiplayer that makes everyone feel cool and strong and has a terrible small amount of game modes and maps. Playing the same weekly shit over and over and over again hoping for exotics you will never get. Waiting for xur every -blam!-ing week and he ends up selling the same shit. Hoping for an update and it never comes. Getting excited from the weekly updates that is still to be yet put into the -blam!-ing game. And there is way more. Tell me, are you bored like me and is waiting for Black Friday or are you not bored and Is loving this game? If ur not bored and is enjoying the game, tell me why. I would very interested to hear your comment

Not as much as others. I still find it fun to go on the raid with others, and the nightfall/ weekly strikes are fun playing with others. I've kinda given up on pvp because of the horrid net-code and wonky balancing. I still find it fun to play, but I balance it with other games. Destiny will probably take a seat in the back for me once Far Cry 4 hits next week.

2 RepliesI enjoy destiny because in the game I set my own goals: Do I want to complete a few bounties or do a few strikes? Will I do a resource run or will I go about killing stuff in Crucible? I make my own choices. The game provides that sense of freedom of choice for me that I like in any RPG enviroment. The repetitiveness... well I already knew it would be repetitive due to it's RPG nature so it didn't come as a shock or detriment or whatever.

1 ReplyThe funny thing about the people who give the "no, I'm not bored" answer is that it's essentially the same as the "yes, I am bored" answer only without the negative connotation associated with doing the same thing over and over again. You see, to the people who aren't bored of it, they enjoy doing the same 5-6 strikes endlessly, the same bounties, etc. There's no real objective reasoning apart from enjoyment through addicting trivium. The problem with the "enjoyment through addiction" argument that people like to make is that if the game had triple the amount of content the addicting aspect of achieving new weapons/armor and leveling it up would still work and would satisfy more people. I mean, a slot machine keeps certain peoples interests for hours and the "content" of that is essentially half a dozen symbols that must line up in a handful of ways.

240+ hours into it and I havnt played for about 4 days i can say i got bored with it and have resorted to catching up on the anime I missed and playing Tera and League of Legends. I still think Destiny is a great game though, it just lacks the content to hold me to it.

I am bored of the itemization. There is no reason whatsoever to pick one piece of legendary over any other. I have NEVER looked at a legendary armor piece and throught, oh that upgrade could be useful to my build/playstyle. Its +light all the way, boring as -blam!-.

Hell ya it's boring, after I got my 30 I decided to try and get 30s on all three characters,that lasted like a couple days and I couldn't do it,I think my Titan is only like a 13 still,destiny hasn't been in my Xbox for a few weeks less my cousin plays it

I am. I've got a 30 titan 29 hunter 29 warlock I knock out the weekly, nightfall, and hard raid with all 3 characters in about 2 days after the refresh. I have tons of exotic and raid weapons but I only maxed out my go to weapons and as a result I've accumulated over 120 AE that I'm not using. I don't see a point in leveling up my other exotics weapons that I know for sure I won't use.I'm done with all the exotic bounties. I'm left with only the daily's to do for the next 5 days until the refresh. Since my titan reached 30 I was like "YAY"!! but then I thought to myself "now what?" So I don't play with him as much. I don't have anything left to do. I hardly have anymore goals to strive towards. I'm discouraged from doing bounties as they serve no purpose unless maybe I get the missing raid gear for my other two 29's but what happens when I complete 2 hard raids with my two 29's and not get rewarded with my missing pieces? I'm stuck with nothing to do. No real goals anymore. No reason to do bounties for xp until maybe perhaps the next refresh. I'm ready for dragon age inquisition

Edited by Fallen Ray: 11/10/2014 4:28:41 PMYes I am, after dedicating so many hours trying to cap lvl 30 I realized it's not worth it cause to go there you need raid gear, the same gear every lvl 30 player has so that means I won't get to be my own custom build i'll have to forfeit the bonuses of my gear for a lvl. Partially dumped the game (cause I still do the weekly strikes, nightfalls and daily missions) went back to Dark Souls 2 which has much more to offer

Yeah I am getting bored. Right now it grind and farming for me at this point, but I still enjoy the game. Taking a break from it and starts playing Dust an Elysian tail which btw is an Amazon game
