We all invested a lot of time into this game. Let's be honest. We are playing the same strikes over and over and over and over again. We are doing the same exact bounties every -blam!-ing day. We are playing the lackluster multiplayer that makes everyone feel cool and strong and has a terrible small amount of game modes and maps. Playing the same weekly shit over and over and over again hoping for exotics you will never get. Waiting for xur every -blam!-ing week and he ends up selling the same shit. Hoping for an update and it never comes. Getting excited from the weekly updates that is still to be yet put into the -blam!-ing game. And there is way more. Tell me, are you bored like me and is waiting for Black Friday or are you not bored and Is loving this game? If ur not bored and is enjoying the game, tell me why. I would very interested to hear your comment
Edit: -blam!- that said no explain why
Edit: thanks for 1 thousand replies. Hopefully bungie looks at this and see what people feel about the game

A little, I'm still enjoying some stuff, but I am reaching the point where the hangup is waiting on weekly resets for even a chance at getting anything (Tiger strikes is okay, but could use more strikes, maybe some variability within each one.) Feels like the only way to get anything decent is to grind coins and buy it from Xur (which would normally be just a really nice way to supplement drops, except I don't really get drops). I solo'd the weekly on 28 twice for 18, and were my warlock high enough I'd probably have done it a 3rd, but it's the first weekly I've managed to really get done at all (always either too low or crappy gear until the last couple weeks) I am so jelly of people with tons of coins, I'll admit it, and wanting them badly enough *is* pushing me to get better, probably once I get a decent selection of gear I'll take a shot at the nightfall (Probly still get crap though) You know how I got what I do have? Bought from rep vendors or Xur, exotic bounties, and a couple purples from the cryptarch packages. Probably used 10 years worth of luck getting Monte Carlo from a legendary engram (pre-patch too I think) One drop (I had a purple helmet and purple gloves that turned into energy, from tiger strikes) Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the ability to earn coins, its a nice bone for those of us unloved by RNG, it's just that what feels like reward for actually doing things is kinda lacking (While I hate the PvP aspect the exotic bounties have been interesting at least, we could really use more of that kind of thing.)

200 hours. Lvl 29 hunter. Lvl 26 titan. Haven't done hard raid yet. So not done yet. Still enjoying the game - playing online makes the same maps different every time.

Edited by ReDSn0: 11/10/2014 8:14:28 PMYup and getting pretty -blam!-ing sick of not getting any raid gear. What a waste of life, and you don't even gain any xp for weapons while paying it over and over and over and over again. Oh and what is with the maps not rotating in crucible? Can we do the same map 6 times in a row please? That's totally awesome.

I'm not bored of rewards, but I only get those once a week on each character, so I log on once a week on each character. I hit Destiny hard every Tuesday, then check in with Xûr each Friday, but other than that, there's really no reason for me to play anymore. I need an incentive to play these sort of games, without the rewards or carrot on the stick, playing Destiny is like playing a football match where nobody is keeping score.

Edited by Nezpax: 11/10/2014 4:10:09 PMI'm not getting bored. Just discouraged week after week. Why? Because I can't acquire the elitist level 30. Those raid boots evade me every week. I wish there was an alternate way to reach level 30, especially since most of the Destinylfg.net Hard mode groups want "level 30s only", *sigh*. Also, I dread farming materials for gear upgrades. But I enjoy most every other aspect of the game (strikes, crucible, etc..).

I huge destiny fan but I'm just here waiting for the dlc...
-
I love the game but aside from the raid am starting to think of it more as work than as fun. They need daily nightfall runs to keep us busy.
-
A little bit, I've found myself more and more reluctant to play. I usually do the daily, my daily public event and try to knock off a few bounties, but even that is becoming lackluster. They need new events and things to do in game. The week reset only lasts so long.

Edited by CosmicGreat1: 11/10/2014 7:30:46 PMI'm bored, not trying to complain but we haven't had anything special like queens bounties or iron banner in quite some time. Also the game needs matchmaking for raids. I can't beat them because it's too hard trying to find enough ppl willing to play if you don't beat it the day it comes out.

Nope not bored at all. Anyone who's played an MMO or similar is familiar with Destiny's setup.

Edited by rnm7024: 11/10/2014 8:39:32 PMI was okay until this morning when it hit me hard, I had to admit it to myself this game is dead. Having completed the bounties in 20 mins it then became apparent that I had absolutely nothing to do and more importantly I was not having any fun. What's more I can't see this game this ever recovering for me personally even post December DLC, this Universe is just too sparse.

I now only play if friends are on or its raid day. Honestly sometimes I don't even play if friends are on b/c they are usually just doing what I think feels like homework: material farming, bounties etc. I get on raid day to raid and nightfall, but otherwise I'm playing NBA 2k15 or Mordor. Got DA coming soon too, so unless the new content is stellar I don't see an uptick in my destiny PT.

Nope not bored. I'm getting tired of the community. I've liked the game since launch, but at almost every direction all I hear and see are people upset. I get on the forums and there's people cursing, throwing tantrums, and just acting like jerks. I get in the game, join up a fireteam, and at least one person can hardly stop complaining about the game they are currently playing. They'll play it for over an hour and still they talk crap about it. Honestly, I'm getting reaaaally tired of it. There is nothing wrong with this game, not from my perspective, but I guess I'm one of the few who actually likes it. I never questioned why I liked Destiny. I didn't need to, still don't, the Crucible is fun, the pve is awesome, and the gathering is....well gathering lol. I don't think a lot of people understood what they were getting into and because of that will rip this game apart until it becomes what they want to see. As soon as I loaded in and got to the tower I went, "Oh, it's like an mmo. Word, I got this." Everything made sense. I was on the forums from the beginning and saw all the craziness that happens. I though, "whatever, it'll calm down", and it did for a while, but there then it went right back to the way it was. People screaming from mountains that the game is crap, attacking anyone who liked the game or defended their point of view, and I just started losing interest. Why would I want to play a game with a community like that? Personally, community is a big part of a social game for me, and this community...well I found myself wishing Bungie had just made some game that was like any other game, even though I would have probably just moved on. At least then there wouldn't't have been so much vitriol. But I can't blame Bungle. I can't even blame you guys. If there's anything I've learned about these forums it's that I shouldn't pay attention to replies. So, I'm not going to. Peace peace guys.

I feel like I got my money's worth. I'm a little bored with the lack of new missions/bounties etc, but I'm still enjoying the gameplay, especially since I have friends that I play with. I think there's a good mix of easy, relaxing gameplay and intense, difficult gameplay, which I really like (Borderlands, for example, gets way too easy after a while).
-
Just bored trying to find groups for strikes and stuff so I can get mats to upgrade gear
-
Well I just recently got the game and started playing, so no. But I do see how repetitive the game can be which probably wears on your love of it.
-
Not as much as others. I still find it fun to go on the raid with others, and the nightfall/ weekly strikes are fun playing with others. I've kinda given up on pvp because of the horrid net-code and wonky balancing. I still find it fun to play, but I balance it with other games. Destiny will probably take a seat in the back for me once Far Cry 4 hits next week.
