Let's be honest. Are you bored playing Destiny?
We all invested a lot of time into this game. Let's be honest. We are playing the same strikes over and over and over and over again. We are doing the same exact bounties every -blam!-ing day. We are playing the lackluster multiplayer that makes everyone feel cool and strong and has a terrible small amount of game modes and maps. Playing the same weekly shit over and over and over again hoping for exotics you will never get. Waiting for xur every -blam!-ing week and he ends up selling the same shit. Hoping for an update and it never comes. Getting excited from the weekly updates that is still to be yet put into the -blam!-ing game. And there is way more. Tell me, are you bored like me and is waiting for Black Friday or are you not bored and Is loving this game? If ur not bored and is enjoying the game, tell me why. I would very interested to hear your comment

Considering how repetitive everything is, the fact that I'm getting bored with it only now is impressive. Right? Once I've done the weeklies and Raid, I only jump on to do the dailies. Honestly, the bounties are a bit depressing now. I think the Hive Ultra bounty has shown up three days in a row. I still play but yeah, I'm catching up on some reading now

This game is actually so bad overall compared to every other game i have played that i will personally prevent the sale of this game where i work, i can only voice my opinion of course but we all know who customers listen to.

I love the game but I can't play as often as I would like. I find that I can't have fun doing what I want because I only get time to do either the vog or the night falls ect when I jump on I can't just roam around exploring the planets and play a bit of multiplayer because if I miss out on doing the raid and the nightfall/weekly there is no chance of advancing ): I'm very excited for the updates and the dlc though. I still don't understand why people complain about the 20 bux or whatever it is I just bought it all at the start but the ps exclusive kind of pisses me off ):

The question is "are you bored playing Destiny" or "are you too bored TO play Destiny". Some boring things have an amazing amount of replay value. I love the game, but it is repetitive at this point.

I only logon for the bounties to level up weapons and every Friday for raid night. I used to play with every little bit of spare time I got, now I just don't have the motivation. Last week I didn't play at all. I'm playing very casually now and also getting into some of my older games, which has been a lot of fun.

The only things that have kept me around have been: A) Friends who still wanted to group up and play, and, B) Nothing else I was waiting to play. Well, since COD:AW dropped, most of my friends have abandoned Destiny and are now off playing that or some other games. With the bulk of fall releases coming out over the next month, I have lots more to play beyond this repetitive POS. As it stands now, I only log in every Tuesday and Friday just to hit the raids on reset and check on Xur's stock. I have no need or desire to go collect 200 Olympus Tears for the third dozen time. I have fully upgraded armor on three characters, each character has at least one fully upgraded exotic and two fully upgraded legendary weapons, and I have a bank full of materials, shards and energies so I have no reason to bother with daily missions. Edit: I should add, I'm also sick of doing the raid multiple times per week (two characters) and seeing shit all for my effort but shards and shaders. Draenor and GTA5 Redux can't get here fast enough.

yes i got so bored i made all my 3 toons lvl 30 by farming gear. god. that was not fun i wouldnt do it sober if anyone else wants to do that lol

Edited by Kitteh Force: 11/9/2014 11:23:48 PMI enjoy grinds but it does get pretty repetitive. I try working on my Grimoire which pushes me to do things I normally wouldn't. For example, I never played with any other guns, in PvE, other than Scout Rifle, Sniper Rifle and Machine Gun. Now, I am almost done with Pulse Rifles and will move on to Hand Cannons, final primary weapon I have to get 10k kills with, and my arsenal, and possibly skill with these weapons, has increased quite a bit. Aside from that, I really do look forward to the new DLC. It is getting stale, and I did take a two week break after the fourth or fifth week.

Since week 2 when it was obvious "new" stuff meant "new" in name only...Queen's Wrath? different skins, same strikes. Iron Banner? different skins, same game of Control. Logged way too many hours early on so it's partly my fault, but the lack of variation has kept me gaming with other games. Honestly, with Halo MCC dropping in 18 hours, I can't really see me playing D before Spring.

A bit I guess. DLC will be the decider for me I think. Depends how regularly they intend to release new stuff. If it's half assed and boring then I'll probably put the disc away for a while, if not forever.

I am very bored with having to spend countless hours collecting spinmetal, helium, rust shards etc., just so i can level up gear. And playing the exact same missions and strikes every day is monotonous. How is that supposed to be fun? Especially when you get "rewards" that end up being worse than the gear you already have! I'm just biding my time grinding in Destiny until Black Friday comes, so maybe I can get the Borderlands prequel and have some actual fun playing a game again.

all i do now is, Raid, weeklies and daily and turn off. Basically everyday I spend about 20min max for the daily and turn off until new week for raid and weekly

Yeh im bored, have definitly had my moneys worth and have really enjoyed the game, but it is finally coming to an end for me. Fed up of doing the same shit.
