Swatting is pretty new to the world, but it hasn't happened all that often. I don't condone it or anything like that, but doesn't it just go to show that people are so up in arms about how terrible destiny is that one of them swatted a lead developer? It wouldn't have happened if bungie had just given us the game we were shown, or pushed it back 3 months and rolled it out with all of its content. I'm not saying I'm glad it happened, it's terrible and dangerous, but come on, if this isn't a sign that the community is unhappy, bungie needs to wake up.

Did you hear about the kid who got Swatted because he beat someone in Call of Duty or something?
-
You need to calm down. Don't like it? Don't play it. Sell it. Don't buy the DLCs. Stop whining.
-
I... Am... Calm? Where did I sound even the least bit aggressive in my post? I don't play it anymore. I haven't in a week and am waiting for halo to come out. Take your bad vibes elsewhere man.
-
Hey I got a question, not attacking you or anything. Why do you still visit the forums if you don't play the game? I'm just curious.
-
I've been a member for 5 years, they weren't always just for destiny. That and I like to occasionally check the weekly update just to see if they'll add something that will make me want to come back, it's long shot, but it's something to do while I'm bored or going to the bathroom.

Speak of the devil. Thanks for telling me! Good to know you have lots of experience with what bungie does.
-
I'm waiting on MCC too, I'm just saying. You were all like RABABAHSBAHSBSHSBARSTAAAAR
-
Has it ever occurred to you Bungie didn't really get a choice to do that? Bungie wouldn't pull something like that unless they absolutely couldn't.
-
Yeah I could understand activision forcing them to release it, but even then bungie obviously looked at the contract before they signed it and partnered with them, they could have fought for creative control. But it seems they didn't.
-
The last time they tried that didn't end too well.

Edited by solid stone1993: 11/8/2014 6:28:07 PMWhat do you mean? If you're talking about Microsoft, bungie had complete control over halo, they didn't want to make the series anymore and decided to leave MS, but they had to give up the rights to halo if they left. That's all.
