As far as I can tell the sides here are a man and his family who never did anything to hurt anyone and a sociopath with a grudge over a $60 game he chose to buy who committed a crime that could have led to someone being hurt or killed and definitely resulted in a waste of taxpayer money and law enforcement resources.
